Liliancat Medical Update:
I know I have not done one of these in a few months. They are hard for me to write because it's reality. I have been trying to be upbeat not for me but for Liliancat. When I can make her laugh and take her mind off her health she feels better. So that is what I try hard to do. Here is the update: Few months ago we found out her cancer spots had gotten larger. So it was back on chemo. I honestly have lost track because like I said when it comes to Lili I stay upbeat but it has been about 8 treatment rounds. Each round is about 4-5 bags of chemo. Last week she had her blood work done and it was not good. Her white cell count was low and she was running a fever. The doctors admitted her to the hospital and she has had 2-3 full bags of blood. Now she has to stay in 7 days past the last blood they give her.
Yesterday I got her laughing and talking about her Kpop Bands she likes. During those times we are just a normal couple having fun. Then she gets tired and needs rest so I shut my mind off till she wakes and needs me again. It's how I handle all this. I have been wanting to give an update. Many of you message me and ask me how she is doing. I show her all of your messages and they always make her happy. Just understand that it's hard for me to talk about it. My mind goes to dark places and I choke up. That is why I do my best to keep doing what I do.
I want to add one more thing for what it is worth. I am sure my words will change nothing here but I have to say it. It makes me sad when I see journals of ex-friends and family member fighting here on VR. I want to tell you stop for a moment. How would you feel if that person you are fighting with rather a ex-friend or a blood relative tomorrow got diagnosed with a terminal illness. Each moment we are here are precious moments. How important really are those fights if from the day to the next we do not know when we will be taken from this life. I know this won't change anything. It just makes me sad.
